Before You Begin
What You'll Need
Our partner platform has a few baseline requirements. Make sure you're set up for success before applying.
Home Office Setup
A quiet, dedicated workspace with a Windows desktop or laptop, high-speed internet (hardwired preferred), and a USB headset.
Background Check
All contractors must pass a background check as part of the onboarding process. This is standard for all client programs.
U.S.-Based
Our partner platform currently serves contractors located in the United States only.
18 Years or Older
You must be at least 18 years of age to register as an independent contractor.
Step by Step
Your Path to Remote Work
Apply Through Motion Virtual
Submit your application through our site. We review your information and reach out within 1–2 business days to walk you through what comes next.
Register on the Platform
Create your independent contractor profile on our partner platform, agree to the independent contractor agreement, and complete your account setup.
Complete a Background Check
A standard background screening is required for all contractors. You are responsible for the cost of the background check. Motion Virtual will guide you through this step.
Pass the Platform Assessment
After your background check clears, you'll take the platform assessment. Passing this assessment is required before you can view available job opportunities. Once you pass, you'll gain access to open client programs, pay rates, job descriptions, training schedules, and more.
Choose a Client Program
Browse available client programs — Home Depot, Intuit, healthcare companies, and more. Review pay rates, job descriptions, and upcoming training dates, then select the program that fits your schedule and goals.
Complete Certification Training
Each client program requires a paid certification course. This training prepares you to handle customer interactions to the client's standards. Motion Virtual supports you throughout the process.
Start Earning
Once certified, you're ready to go live. Set your schedule, log in, and start providing service — and earning — on your own terms.

Independent contractors are paid per minute of talk time or per hour, depending on the client program. Rates vary by program and are competitive with market rates for remote customer service work.
Because you set your own schedule, your earnings are directly tied to the hours you choose to work. Many contractors use this flexibility to supplement existing income or build a full-time remote career.
